Can you believe that this tiny group of islands has produced 4 Miss USA's?Their last one even became Miss Universe! This year, the Aloha State is betting on Renee Nobriga.
Originally from Oahu’s North Shore, she is an active member both in and out of her community. She supports various charities including the American Heart Association, Adult Friends for Youth, Helemano Wellness Center, and the Hawaii Food Bank.
Her first try for the state title in 2008, gained her second runner up, not bad for a first timer. When she tried again in 2009, she received first runner up. Believing in the power of perseverance, Nobriga tried again. Apparently it is three times the charm for Nobriga, because this time she took home the crown.
