The Hoosier State
Indiana is one of those states that has never had a Miss USA. In 2008, The Hoosier State sent one of its best contenders in years, Brittany Mason. This year, Indiana is sending another well-prepared contender, Allison Biehl.
Allison is 21 and hails from North Vernon. She is a student at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis. Allison’s career ambition is to open her own dental practice after graduating from IUPUI with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and the IU School of Dentistry.
She tried 3 times before winning the crown. She was in the top 10 in 2008 and 2nd Runner Up in 2009.
