KENTUCKY
The Bluegrass State
One of the most controversial Miss USA winners came from Kentucky.  Tara Connor, who had an alcohol problem, almost lost her title in 2006.  But Mr. Donald Trump gave her a second chance.  This year's contender from the Bluegrass State is Kindra Clark.  She's hoping to repeat Tara's win, less the controversy.

Kindra is 20 years old and currently a communications major at Eastern Kentucky University.  She's from Mt. Washington and currently holds a  3.8 GPA in school.

This is Kindra's first shot at the state title.  Interestingly enough, she competed with last year's Miss Kentucky USA, Maria Montgomery in another pageant 8 years ago.
