The Pelican State
Louisiana is another one of the most successful states in the Miss USA system. They have produced 3 winners and have made the semi finals 22 times. Sara Brooks is representing the state this year in Las Vegas.
Sara is a very strong contender and has a very good chance of keeping the streak for the Pelican State. Sara is 21 and from La Fayette. She is currently a Student at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. After graduating college she plans to continue her education by going to nursing school. Sara enjoys playing sports, keeping up her EBAY business, as well as international travel.
She made the top 10 in the 2009 state pageant before winning the title in 2010.
