The Beaver State
Oregon is one of those states that is so unpredictable at the Miss USA Pageant. Our favorite Miss Oregon ever that made the semi finals is Debbie Epperson in 1984. We wished that she would have done much better but she didn't.
This year's Miss Oregon is Kate Paul. She has the looks and the goods but is it enough? Kate is from Bend and is 24 years old. During college she majored in New Media Communications, and minored in Political Science and Spanish. She currently works as a reporter and producer at KTVZ, a local news station in Bend, Oregon. She is fluent in Spanish.
She has no previous experience in pageants.
