Utah's first Miss USA, Charlotte Sheffield, was not the crowned winner during the finals night. Charlotte was actually the 1st Runner Up. When the winner that year, Miss Maryland, Barbara Ann Eschenburg, was disqualified, Charlotte took over the crown.
This year's Miss Utah is the gorgeous Katya Feinstein. Katya Dmitrievna Feinstein was born in Moscow, Russia and moved to America with her family in 1992. She is fluent in both English and Russian. She grew up in Centerville and is now 19. She has an associate degree of applied science in Cosmetology and Barbering from Salt Lake Community College.
Katya was Miss Utah Teen USA in 2008 where she competed in Atlantis with Stevi Perry, Miss Arkansas Teen USA, who won the title that year.
