The Evergreen State
There's only been one Miss USA that ever came from Washington and that's Dorothy Anstett back in 1968. Since then, it's been a crap shoot for the Evergreen State. The last contestant that made the semi finals was back in 2004, Tara McCormick. They are hoping that this year's contestant, Tracy Turnure, start this new decade with a bang!
Tracy is 24 and was born and raised in Seattle. She graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Marketing and Sales. Currently, Tracy works for WA Partners, a commercial real estate company. As she works towards being a Broker, she also looks forward to one day investing in and purchasing properties.
Tracy has never competed in any pageant before but the interesting part about her winning the state title is that she was crowned by her own sister, Tara, who competed last year at Miss USA.
