The Equality State
In 1986, Beth King made history as the very first Miss Wyoming to ever make the semi finals of the Miss USA Pageant. Unfortunately, since then, they have not placed again.
If there is a year that the Equality State will make the semi finals, it will be this year. Their contestant this year, Claire Schreiner, is absolutely gorgeous! She is 22 and from Gillette. Claire is a senior at the University of Nevada Las Vegas where she is a broadcast journalism major and captain of the UNLV women's track and field team.
She previously competed in the state level for both Wyoming and Nevada. She placed 3rd Runner Up in the 2006 Miss Wyoming USA Pageant, top 10 in the Miss Nevada USA Pageant in 2008 and placed 3rd Runner Up at the Miss Nevada USA Pageant in 2009.
